Post subject:  school violance

there's this nice gentleman at my shool, who's been getting in my face, laughing and quite well mocking me for pretty much the whole time, I've been in highschool. He's a few years younger than me, for the record. Well, I've figured, I'd like to beat him up (if there wasn't for that people only keep me in school because I'm a nice person) anyway. But I was afraid they might kick me out.

So, today, he walked to me, stared in my eyes and coughed in my face. Pretty swiftly, I elbowed him to the head. No blood or stuff, though. I hit with the part where flesh covers bone, not really the edges. So he asked for my full name and how many classes I had. Said he had only come to the window (where I happened to be), to see if the physics teacher had been at school. It seemed kind of like he had planned it or something. *shrug*
Well, I told him the name and how many classes I had. Shouldn't have bothered doing so much, just ignored him. But, live and learn.

It sounded kinda like he was going to ambush me with pals or something. But, no, he said he'd take it to the cops. And, indeed, noone waiting to beat me up, outside of school. If he will speak to cops, at worst I'll get a fine. Teachers won't do squat for something that petty. Eh well, I do feel somewhat better for having hit him. I wish I'd hit harder, though. And I'd like to see what comes of it. As everyone says, the guy won't do anything to me. Probably just tough-talking... unless it was all a plan.

previous experience. I was dozing on the ground at school, when some lil' kids threw food at me. I chased one down, and grabbed him by throat. Teacher happened to walk by, though, so I let him go... but nothing came of it.

Uhm... how in the world do you attract the malicious attention of younger children? I'm not sure I understand this.

for little kids, who actually are literally little - they pick the person who's randomly sleeping. Who's not energetic or engaged in activity.

As for the guy was talking about in this post... well, simplified, he's an asshole. And I draw attention in general. With appearance. So that did it with him.

You shouldn't have told him your name. It would've made it harder for him to do anything if he doesn't know what to call you.

Well, even though I'm 14, I hit other kids if they annoy/laugh at me. Just two days ago someone almost made me trip when I was running. I turned around gave him a straight punch to the nose and broke it.

Yeah... despite all the anti-propaganda, violance is a great way to solve things.

As much as it sounds brutalic, it is indeed a great way to solve things. If you use violence correctly, you can not only get vengeance, you can strike fear into hearts and make sure it will never happen again.

Ah, but violence just begets more violence. It's a never ending cycle that isn't very good for anyone.

Remember what Ghandi said: "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."

I don't think people should use violence to solve their problems, unless of course they have no other choice. If I was in a situation where I didn't have any other choice I would defend myself. In other words I won't start anything, but I will finish it. Unfortunately, the fights were so bad at my school, that they started to take certain privillages away from us. Our lunch period use to be an hour long, but they shortened it when the fights started. I guess what I'm trying to say is, choose your battles wisely.
